U.S. exports of structural pipe totaled 6,183 tons in January this year, up 38.7 percent from December and down 45.3 percent from January 2025, according to U.S. Department of Commerce export data. In value terms, structural pipe exports were $12.65 million in January, up from $9.11 million in the previous month and $17.78 million in the same month the previous year.
The United States shipped the most structural pipes to Mexico in January with 3,184 tons, compared to 2,414 tons in December and 4,235 tons in January 2025 year. The other leading export destination was Canada with 2,818 metric tons. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 tons or more) for U.S. pipe exports in January.
