Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation announced that its global vehicle output fell 3.9 percent year-on-year to 749,673 units in February this year. Specifically, the company's domestic output fell 2.6 percent to 278,916 units, while its overseas output for the month fell 4.6 percent year-on-year to 470,757 units.
Toyota's global vehicle sales were 470,757 units in February, down 3.3 percent year-on-year. In January-February this year, the company's global vehicle production fell 4.9 percent year-on-year to 1,484,770 units, while its global sales stood at 1,559,711 units, up 0.8 percent year-on-year.
