The Russian metallurgical plant Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) announces the launch of new high-strength reinforcement grades with guaranteed resistance to stress corrosion cracking, expanding its portfolio of promising construction projects.
New grades include A500SCK/A500SNK and A600SCK/A600SNK, designed to meet the growing demand for high-performance reinforcing materials.
Wide range of specialized brand reinforcement
MMK has developed a wide range of advanced reinforcing products, including highly plastic (H) A500SN, corrosion-resistant (K) A500SK and cyclic load-resistant (U) grades such as A500SU, A500SNU and A500SKU.
The company also introduced combination grades such as A500SNK and A500SNUK, which combine ductility, cyclic load resistance and protection against stress corrosion cracking tension.
These products are available in rolls with a diameter of 8-12 mm and in bars in the range of 12-32 mm.
Designed for demanding construction applications
Newly developed grades of reinforcement are designed for use in prefabricated and monolithic reinforced concrete structures. Their improved mechanical properties make them suitable for highly loaded environments, including power plants, infrastructure projects, special-purpose buildings and residential construction in seismic zones.
In addition, MMK introduced A600SN reinforcement with increased ductility, along with the A600SK and A600SNK grades
