According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US tin exports totaled 3,058 tons in January this year, down 5.7 percent month-on-month and 5.7 percent higher than January 2025. In value terms, tinplate exports stood at $3.21 million in January, compared to $3.46 million in the previous month and $3.36 million in the same month in 2025.
