India's Lloyds Metal and Energy limited (LMEL) achieved iron ore production of 21.96 million tonnes in the 2025-26 financial year, up 120 percent year-on-year, according to a regulatory filing on Thursday, April 2.
The company reported iron ore pellet production of 9.1 million tonnes for the year, up by 529 percent, while its direct reduced iron (DRI) production stood at 484,000 tonnes, up 57 percent year-on-year.
LMEL said it is targeting iron ore production of 26 million tonnes in the current financial year 2026-27.
