Indian state-owned mining company NMDC limited achieved iron ore production of 5.35 million tonnes in March 2026, an increase of 50.7 percent year-on-year, according to a company report on Thursday, April 2.
Total iron ore production in FY 2025-26 stood at 53.15 million tonnes, an increase by 21 percent year-on-year to reach its highest annual production level.
NMDC limited's sales in March 2026 stood at 5.90 million tonnes, an increase of 40 percent year-on-year.
Total sales in FY 2025-26 stood at 50.23 million tonnes, up 13 percent higher year on year.
