Indian state-owned steelmaker Rashtriya Ispat Nigam limited (RINL) achieved crude steel production of 5.43 million tonnes in fiscal 2025-26, up 51% year-on-year, according to a company statement on Thursday, April 2.
RINL reported steel sales of 4.42 million tonnes in the said year, up 27% year-on-year. year-ago period.
The performance improvement highlights better operating efficiency, higher capacity utilization and stronger market penetration, driven by a sustained focus on productivity, cost control and customer satisfaction, the company said.
