Zaporozhye Metallurgical Plant "Zaporizhstal" in January-March of this year increased shipments of rolled products by 3.8% compared to the same period last year - to 660.6 thousand tons from 636.7 thousand tons.
According to the company's press release, steel production in the first three months amounted to 758.2 thousand tons (in January-March 2025 - 748.4 thousand tons), cast iron - 819.3 thousand tons (849.6 thousand tons).
In March, Zaporizhstal produced 316.4 thousand tons of cast iron, 298.2 thousand tons of steel, shipped 254.6 thousand tons of rolled products.
As reported, Zaporizhstal in 2025 year increased its rolled stock by 15.2% compared to the previous year - to 2 million 794.6 thousand tons from 2 million 426.7 thousand tons. Steel production amounted to 3 million 212.2 thousand tons (in 2024 - 2 million 890.8 thousand tons), cast iron - 3 million 567.8 thousand tons (3 million 106.3 thousand tons).
Zaporizhstal in 2024 increased rolled products by 18.1% compared to 2023.
