Ukrainian steel pipe manufacturer Interpipe has announced the completion of the acquisition of ArcelorMittal's Romanian subsidiary ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Roman S.
A., located in Luxembourg, effective March 31, 2026.
The transaction marks an important step in the company's strategy to expand its presence in Europe and strengthen its position in key regional markets. markets.
First production platform in the EU
Interpipe said the acquisition represents its first production platform in the EU, which is an important milestone in its international expansion.
The company stressed that the Romanian plant will complement its vertically integrated operations in Ukraine, supporting both geographic diversification and technological integration.
The AMTP plant is a large manufacturer of seamless steel pipes with a diameter from 168.3 mm to 406.4 mm.
By integrating the Romanian enterprise, Interpipe strives to:
