Indian state-owned mining company NMDC limited has increased the price of iron ore lumps and penalties with immediate effect, company sources said on Monday, April 6.
Sources said the price of iron ore lumps (67% Fe content, 10-40 mm) has been increased by INR 550/mt ($6/mt) to 5900 INR/mt ($63/mt) ex-mine and the price of iron ore (64% Fe content, less than 10 mm) was increased by 450 INR/mt ($5/mt) to 4500 INR/mt ($48/mt) ex-mine.
All prices are excluding mandatory taxes and fees such as District Mineral Fund (DMF), National Mineral Exploration Fund (DMET) and timber permit fees
