The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced the final results of its review of the antidumping duty (AD) on rebar from Mexico and the countervailing duty (CVD) on rebar from Turkey.
DOC has determined that the elimination of the antidumping duty and countervailing duties on these products from Mexico and Turkey would likely result in continued or recurrent dumping, countervailing subsidies, and material damage.
The estimated weighted average dumping margin for Mexico is 20.58 percent and 66.70 percent, while the subsidy rates are 6.58 percent and 7.71 percent for Turkish companies.
Products subject to orders are currently classified under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) for subheadings 7213.10.0000, 7214.20.0000 and 7228.30.8010.
