Production for the week ending April 11, 2026 increased 0.7 percent compared to the previous week ending April 4, 2026 production was 1.831 million net tons and a capacity utilization rate of 79.1 percent.
Production was 1.684 million net tons for the week of April 11, 2025, with a capacity utilization rate of 75.0 percent. Production for the current week represents an increase of 9.4 percent year-over-year.
Adjusted year-to-date production through April 11, 2026 was 25.871 million net tons at a capacity utilization rate of 77.5 percent. This is up 5.5 percent from 24.519 million net tons in the same period last year, when the capacity utilization rate was 76.1 percent.
