Steel imports to Vietnam in March 2026 increased by 44.9 percent compared to February.

In March of this year, steel imports to Vietnam totaled 1.24 million tons, up 44.9 percent from February, while scrap imports were registered at 556,702 tons, up 28.5 percent from the same month, according to data released by By the General Customs Administration of Vietnam.

In the first three months of the year, steel imports to Vietnam decreased by 2.9 percent year-on-year to 3.62 million tons, while scrap imports totaled 1.49 million tons during the period, an increase of eight percent year-on-year.
