In particular, as of April 10, domestic stocks of HRC, sheet steel, wire rod and rebar decreased by 6.0%, 4.2%, 3.5% and 7.3%, respectively, while domestic CRC stocks increased by 1.4% compared to March 31.
Stocks of basic finished steel products in China decreased by 5.3 percent in early April 2026
On April 10 of this year, the total domestic stocks of the five main finished steel products in 21 major Chinese cities totaled 10.82 million tons, down 5.3% from March 31, as announced by the Chinese Association of Ferrous Metallurgy (CISA).
