China's coal imports increased 1.3 percent in January-March 2026

According to the latest data released by the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC), from January to March this year, China's coal imports (all types) totaled 116.279 million tons, up 1.3 percent from the previous year.

In March alone, China's coal imports totaled 39.059 million tons, up 26.2 percent from the previous year month.
