UAE-based Metal Park has announced that it has stepped up its operations as part of efforts to support growing demand from the country's construction and infrastructure sectors.
The company will introduce 25,000-30,000 tonnes of rebar per month from the second quarter of 2026, to support large-scale construction and infrastructure projects across country.
Expanding Capacity to Meet Market Demand
The Company has upgraded its processing capabilities to provide enhanced cutting and bending services for steel reinforcement, targeting increased efficiency and faster delivery times for customers. The move is aimed at meeting growing demand driven by ongoing construction activity in the UAE.
The planned capacity expansion is equivalent to approximately 10-12 percent of the total monthly rebar consumption in the UAE and is being developed to meet growing demand driven by energy, utilities and large infrastructure projects. The new facilities will incorporate advanced processing technologies to produce large, precision cut and bend rebars to stringent quality and compliance requirements.
By expanding its manufacturing capabilities, Metal Park aims to offer more value-added services to contractors and developers, ensuring better project execution and reducing on-site processing requirements.
