The company stated that the plant operates at a high metallization rate and also provides direct hot supply to the smelter. ENERGIRON ZR technology, jointly developed by Tenova and Danieli, provides flexible gas recovery of iron ore pellets with high metallization and compact installation area.
According to the statement, Suez Steel has consistently achieved natural gas consumption of just below 2.2 Gcal/mt over several months thanks to continuous optimization and operational experience.
The company added that the recently commissioned pellet production plant played a key role in these results, delivering high-quality pellets with optimal recoverability, supporting the stable and efficient operation of the DRP.
