S. Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced the final results of the review of anti-dumping duties on non-oriented silicon steel from Sweden, Germany, China, Korea, Taiwan and Japan, as well as orders on countervailing duties on the same products from China and Taiwan.
The Ministry of Commerce has determined that the lifting of the anti-dumping duty and countervailing duty orders is likely to lead to the continuation or resumption of dumping. and the damage to the US industry.
The weighted average dumping margin is set at 126.72 percent for Sweden, 98.84 percent for Germany, 407.52 percent for China, 6.88 percent for Korea, 52.23 percent for Taiwan and 204.79 percent for Japan. Subsidy rates, on the other hand, are defined as 158.88 percent for Chinese exporters and 17.12 percent for Leicong Industrial Company, Ltd. and 8.61 percent for other Taiwanese exporters.
Products subject to orders are currently classified in the United States Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTSUS) under subheadings 7225.19.0000, 7226.19.1000 and 7226.19.9000.
