S. Department of Commerce, exports of hot-rolled coils to the United States in February this year totaled 48,455 tons, which is 5.5 percent less than in January and 2.8 percent higher than in February 2025. In value terms, exports of heat-rolled products totaled $53.52 million in February, compared with $55.78 million in the previous month and $45.37 million in the same month last year.
The United States shipped the most HRC to Mexico in February, with 35,434 tons, compared with 36,718 tons in January and 33,114 tons in February 2025. Mexico is followed by Canada with 12,817 tons. There were no other significant exports of HRC from the USA (1,000 tons or more) in February
