New vehicle sales totaled 124,004 units in February 2026, reflecting an 8.5 per cent month-on-month increase and a 2.3 per cent year-on-year decline, according to Statistics Canada. By value, Canadian vehicle sales were $7.10 billion in February, up from $6.50 billion in January and $7.10 billion in February 2025.
Canada sales of North American-produced vehicles totaled 81,313 units in February, valued at $4.94 billion, while sales of foreign-produced vehicles totaled 42,691 units worth US$2.17 billion
