MOC: The average price of hot-rolled steel strip in China decreased by 0.1% from April 6 to April 12, 2026

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that from April 6 to 12 this year, the average price of finished steel in China showed a slight decline.

During this period, the average prices of rebar, high-speed wire rod and hot-rolled steel strip decreased by 0.5 percent, 0.3 percent and 0.1 percent per week, respectively.

During the same period, the average prices of coking coal, thermal coal and smokeless lump coal decreased by 0.7 percent, 0.3 percent and 0.2 percent per week, respectively.
