According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in March 2026, the foreign sales price index (PPI) of Turkish producers as a whole increased by 3.94 percent compared to February and by 35.4 percent year on year, while an average increase of 30.23 percent was recorded in the last 12 months.
For this month, Foreign producer sales prices in the Turkish domestic industry base metals increased 0.58 percent month-on-month and rose 25.87 percent over the same month in 2025. Meanwhile, the average price increase over the past 12 months was 22.05 percent.
On the other hand, in March, Turkish manufacturers' sales prices abroad for domestic steel products, excluding machinery, increased by 0.36 percent compared to February and increased by 27.13 percent year on year. At the same time, the average price increase over the past 12 months was 28.8 percent
