According to statistics released by Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan's export orders for base metals and metal products totaled $2.20 billion in March this year, an increase of 27.8 percent over March 2025 and 2.9 percent over the previous month. In February, Taiwan's export orders for base metals and base metal products fell 10.9 from the previous month.
Between January and March, export orders for base metals and base metal products increased 1.5 percent year on year to US$5.87 billion.
