According to preliminary data from the US Department of Commerce, US imports of oil-country tubular products (OCTG) totaled 115,841 tons in February this year, up 24.6 percent from January and 15.2 percent more than last year. In value terms, OCTG imports totaled $129.96 million in February, up from $113.44 million in January and $132.97 million in the same month in 2025.
The United States imported the most OCTG from South Korea in February, at 53,700 tons, up from 31,492 tons in January and 16,559 tons in February. 2025. Other top sources of OCTG imports in February are Vietnam with 13,507 tonnes, Canada with 12,257 tonnes and the UAE with 10,509 tonnes.
