S. Department of Commerce, imports of linear pipes to the United States totaled 41,813 tons in February this year, up 52.3 percent from January and down 22.4 percent year-on-year. In value terms, imports of linear pipes amounted to $44.35 million in February this year, compared with $38.85 million in January and $80.2 million in February 2025.
The United States imported the largest number of linear pipes from South Korea in February with 30,308 tons, compared with 8,765 tons in January and 17,029 tons in February 2025. Other major sources of linear pipe imports in February include Italy with 2,008 metric tons, Georgia with 1,850 metric tons, and India with 1,566 metric tons.
