According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, rebar exports to the US totaled 4,947 tons in February this year, down 62.0 percent month-on-month and down 77.8 percent year-over-year. In value terms, rebar exports were $4.65 million in February, up from $11.78 million in the previous month and $16.58 million in the same month in 2025.
The United States shipped the most rebar to Canada in February with 3,174 tons, up from 11,865 tons in January and 13,432 tons in February 2025. In February, there were no other significant destinations (1000 tons or more) for the export of rebar from the United States.
