The company's metallurgical equipment repair shop has expanded its range of autonomous restoration services, allowing the repair of key replacement components used in the sintering workshop. This approach is expected to extend the service life of the equipment and increase the stability of production.
New solutions for drive gear components
As part of the expansion, specialists from the Central Recycling and Recycling Plant have introduced repair services for two additional types of drive gears used in the pallet feed drum of sintering machines. These components play a crucial role in maintaining stable machine performance.
Investing in advanced equipment
To support the initiative, Kametstal has upgraded its technical infrastructure by installing a modern cylindrical CNC grinding machine. The equipment is designed to restore circular components such as shafts and rollers with high precision.
It is planned that the new machine will start operating in April, initially focusing on processing drum shafts for the sintering workshop.
