According to export data from the U.
S. Department of Commerce, exports of pipe products from the petroleum countries (OCTG) to the United States totaled 11,920 tons in February this year, which is 13.2 percent less than in January and 38.8 percent less than in February 2025. In value terms, OCTG exports totaled $26.99 million in February, compared with $31.16 million in the previous month and $33.74 million in the same month in 2025.
The United States shipped the largest amount of OCTG to Canada in February with 8,234 tons, compared with 9,216 tons in January and 16,221 tons in February 2025. The other main source was Mexico with 1,706 metric tons
