According to the export data of the US Department of Commerce, exports of light bars to the United States in February this year amounted to 3,478 tons, which is 23.8 percent less than in January and 17.2 percent less year-on-year. In value terms, exports of merchant bars totaled $4.67 million in February, compared with $5.98 million in the previous month and $4.59 million in the same month in 2025.
