Australian iron ore miner Fortescue Metals Group announced its operating results for the third quarter and first nine months ended March 31 of its 2025-26 financial year.
In the second quarter, the company's iron ore shipments fell 4.2 percent from the second quarter and rose 4.9 percent from the second quarter to 48.4 million tonnes, while while it produced 59.5 million tonnes of iron ore, down 3.1 percent quarter-on-quarter and up 7.2 percent year-on-year.
In addition, Fortescue's iron ore shipment forecast for the 2025-26 financial year is 195-205 million tonnes, including 10-12 million tons from Iron Bridge.
