U.S. standard pipe imports totaled 48,817 tons in February of this year, down 12.9 percent from January and down 16.0 percent year over year, according to final U.S. Department of Commerce Census data. In value terms, standard pipe imports totaled $47.26 million in February, up from $53.34 million in January and $64.7 million in February last year.
The US imported the most standard pipes from the UAE in February with 12,525 tonnes, up from 11,450 tonnes in January and 6,424 tonnes in February 2025. Other leading sources of imported standard pipes in February included Canada with 8,800 metric tons, Thailand with 7,812 metric tons, South Korea with 4,527 metric tons and Mexico with 3,719 metric tons.
