MOC: The average price of hot-rolled steel strip in China increased by 0.1% from April 13 to April 19, 2026.

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that between April 13 and 19 this year, the average price of finished steel in China fluctuated in a limited range.

During this period, all average prices for rebar, high-speed wire rod and hot-rolled steel strip increased by 0.1 percent weekly, while average prices for welded steel pipes and steel channels decreased by 0.4 percent and 0.1 percent per week. for a week, respectively.

Over the same period, average prices for coking and thermal coal increased by 0.4 percent and 0.2 percent, respectively, while the average price for smokeless lump coal remained stable each week.
