Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation announced that its global vehicle production increased 2.1 percent year-on-year to 902,210 units in March this year. In particular, the company's domestic output fell 3.3 percent to 293,426 units, while its foreign output rose 4.9 percent year-on-year to 608,784 units.
Toyota's global car sales totaled 897,871 units in March, down 7.3 percent year-on-year.
In January-March of this year, the company's global vehicle output decreased 2.4 percent year-on-year to 2,386,980 units, while its global sales totaled 2,456,859 units, down 2.4 percent year-on-year.
