The Tanzanian company Lodhia Industries has selected Danieli to supply a reheating furnace for a new complex of long products

Tanzanian steel producer Lodhia Industries has signed a contract with Danieli Centro Combustion India for the supply of a new pusher superheating furnace with a capacity of 50 tons per hour for its new bar and wire rod production facility in Tanzania. The commissioning of the new industrial superheating furnace is scheduled for the first half of 2027.

According to Danieli Centro Combustion India, the new superheating furnace will be designed using state-of-the-art technology and will meet the latest safety standards. It will be equipped with a new generation of burners and an efficient combustion system to ensure optimal heating methods, higher thermal efficiency, lower scale formation and lower pollutant emissions.

The company stated that the project reflects Lodhia Industries' commitment to energy efficiency and environmental impact reduction in line with its decarbonization strategy.

The furnace will serve the rod and wire rod mill previously ordered by Lodhia Industries from Danieli, completing the technological package for the new long products rolling complex in Tanzania.
