Net sales decreased 7.15 percent to $321.041 million, production costs decreased 7.43 percent to $276.324 million, with gross profit down 5.35 percent to $44.717 million and operating profit down 8.6 percent to $27.350 million.
The decline in net profit primarily reflected lower gross profit, with exchange rate fluctuations and lower profits at subsidiaries also playing a role, which were partially offset by lower finance costs and lower income taxes, the company said. paid.
