According to media reports, Vietnamese steel company Hoa Phat Group will supply prestressed steel cables for a number of infrastructure projects in Phu Quoc, developed in preparation for the 2027 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.
The company's prestressed steel products will be used in several construction projects related to the event, including transport and urban infrastructure aimed at to enhance the island's ability to welcome foreign visitors.
The projects are expected to play a key role in improving connectivity and supporting long-term economic development in the region.
Hoa Phat Group said its pre-stressed steel cables meet the technical requirements for large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring durability and structural performance. These products are commonly used in bridges, highways and other heavy-duty applications.
