Ş. (Kocaer Çelik) has announced financial and operating results for the first quarter of 2026.
In the first quarter, Kocaer Çelik's net profit attributable to the parent company was 118.84 million Turkish liras, down 67 percent from the previous year. The company's operating profit decreased by 55 percent year-on-year to 464.01 million Turkish liras, while net sales revenue fell by 15 percent year-on-year to 5.06 billion Turkish liras.
Adjusted for the same period The company's EBITDA decreased by 16 percent year-on-year to 715.25 million Turkish liras. Adjusted EBITDA margin decreased to 14.1 percent from 14.4 percent in the same period of the previous year. However, the company said that the EBITDA margin recorded in the first quarter of 2026 exceeded the 12.9 percent achieved in 2025.
During the specified period, the total sales volume of Kocaer Çelik decreased by 3.7 percent year-on-year to 144,645 tons. Approximately 62 percent of the company's sales were made abroad. In the first quarter, domestic sales revenue increased by 37 percent year-on-year to 1.86 billion Turkish liras, while international sales revenue fell by 32 percent year-on-year to 3.06 billion Turkish liras.
