In the quarter, the company reported a net loss of 306.79 million Turkish liras ($6.76 million), compared with a net loss of 251.46 million Turkish liras recorded in the same period of the previous year, while its sales revenue increased 0.6 percent year-on-year to 498.33 million Turkish liras ($10.98 million). In addition, Çelik Halat ve Tel Sanayii's operating loss was 120.31 million Turkish liras ($2.65 million), compared with an operating loss of 173.69 million Turkish liras recorded in the first quarter of 2025.
In the first quarter, the company's total sales of steel ropes totaled 282.27 million Turkish liras ($6.22 million), an increase of 21.9 percent, while sales of galvanized wire fell by 50.2 percent to 24.20 million Turkish liras ($533,281), while sales of spring wire increased by 2.3 percent to 128.30 million Turkish liras ($2.83 million), and all this is annualized.
