US HRC exports increased by 10.7% in March 2026 compared to February

According to export data from the U.

S. Department of Commerce, exports of hot-rolled coils to the United States totaled 53,666 tons in March this year, which is 10.7 percent more than in February and 11.1 percent less than in March 2025. In value terms, HRC exports totaled $59.47 million in March, compared with $53.52 million in the previous month and $63.05 million in the same month last year.

The United States shipped the largest amount of HRC to Mexico in March with 38,520 tons, compared with 35,434 tons in February and 39,472 tons in March 2025. Mexico is followed by Canada with 14,609 metric tons. In March, there were no other significant destinations (1,000 tons or more) for US HRC exports.
