The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the preliminary results of its administrative review of anti-dumping duty (AD) on non-alloy round steel welded pipe (CWP) from South Korea for the period of review (POR) from November 1, 2023 to October 31, 2024.
The U.S. Department of Commerce has tentatively determined that Hyundai Steel Company and its successor Hyundai Steel Pipe Co.,Ltd. sold the goods in question at below normal prices at the time of POR, and Husteel Co., Ltd. did not do so.
The Ministry of Justice has set a preliminary weighted average dumping margin of 4.19 percent for Hyundai Steel Company and Hyundai Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. Husteel Co., Ltd. a provisional margin of 0.00 percent was assigned.
The six unselected companies Aju Besteel, Kumkang Kind Co., Ltd., Miju Steel Manufacturing, NEXTEEL Co., Ltd., SeAH FS and SeAH Steel Corporation were assigned a rate of 4.19 percent based on the rate calculated for Hyundai Steel Pipe Co., Ltd., since the rate for Husteel was nil.
Additionally, DOC reversed this review for 14 companies that did not have viewable suspended records for the items in question at the time of the POR.
