The ASU is designed to supply 1,450 tons of oxygen per day, 1,800 tons of nitrogen per day and 64 tons of argon per day to Jindal Sustainable Limited, and any surplus products will be sold to meet local industrial demand in the region, the company said.
VRUs of this scale are critically important industrial plants that produce gases needed for steel production and other industrial processes. The plant's ability to supply certain amounts of oxygen, nitrogen, and argon underscores its role in supporting large-scale industrial operations, the company said.
