Taiwan's industrial production index fell 6.37 percent month-on-month in April this year and rose 14.16 percent year-on-year, according to data from the country's Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA). In this month, industrial production in the country's core steel industry fell 1.82 percent, while output of steel products increased 0.45 percent from the previous month.
