The turnover of base metals in Turkey increased by 1.8 percent in April 2026 compared to March.

According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in April of this year, Turkey's monthly industrial turnover index increased by 3.7 percent compared to the previous month, while the calendar-adjusted index increased by 40.1 percent compared to April 2025.

In this month, the index of industrial turnover for the production of base metals in Turkey increased by 1.8 percent month-on-month and by 33.4 percent. on an annual basis.

The index of industrial turnover for the production of finished metal products in April decreased by 2.8 percent month-on-month and increased by 28.3 percent year-on-year.
