According to export data from the U.
S. Department of Commerce, exports of cold-rolled coils to the United States totaled 66,778 tons in April this year, down 2.6 percent month-on-month and up 20.5 percent year-on-year. In value terms, CRC exports totaled $84.09 million in April, compared with $93.73 million in the previous month and $73.97 million in the same month in 2025.
The U.
S. shipped the most CRC to Mexico in April, with 53,431 tons, compared with 55,340 tons in March and 40,234 tons in April 2025. The destination was Canada with 13,072 tons. There were no other significant CRC exports from the USA (1,000 tons or more) in April.
