CRC imports to the United States increased by 54.5% in April 2026 compared to March

According to the preliminary census data from the U.

S. Department of Commerce, imports of cold-rolled steel to the United States in April this year amounted to 84,577 tons, which is 54.5% more month-on-month and 20.2% less year-on-year. In value terms, CRC imports totaled $69.96 million in April this year, compared with $51.63 million in March and $104.22 million in April 2025.

The United States imported the most CRC from Vietnam in April with 16,950 tons, compared with 4858 tons in March and 2,181 tons in April 2025. Other major CRC import sources in April include Taiwan with 14,717 tons, Australia with 13,518 tons, Canada with 13,353 tons, and South Korea with 8,469 tons.
