Alessandro Banzato has been appointed the new President of the Federation of the Italian Federation.

Alessandro Banzato, chairman and CEO of the Italian steel company Acciaierie Venete, has been appointed as the new president of Federacciai for the term 2026-2028, as announced by Federacciai, the Italian Federation of Steel Companies, in a press release issued on June 30, 2026.

"The appointment will be submitted for approval to the assembly of steel Industry Entrepreneurs, scheduled for the next meeting in October," Federacciai said in a statement.

Alessandro Banzato has been CEO of Acciaierie Venete since 2004 and has been Chairman of the company since 2013.
