The Ukrainian metallurgical plant Zaporizhstal, owned by Metinvest, announced production results for June and the first six months of 2026.
In June, Zaporizhstal produced 301,200 tons of pig iron, 284,900 tons of steel and shipped 243,700 tons of steel. rolled products - an increase of 2.9%, 6.5% and 10.6% year-on-year, respectively.
In January-June of this year, the volume of pig iron production at Zaporizhstal amounted to 1.56 million tons, decreasing by 9.5% year-on-year, and steel production and shipment of rolled products - 1.44 million tons and 1.27 million tons, respectively, down 7.7 percent and 3.4 percent year on year.
