In the period from January to May 2025, Yemen, Romania, Albania, Kosovo and Syria stood out among the leading rebar export markets in Turkey, while there were noticeable changes in the market ranking for the same period in 2026. Yemen maintained its leading position, with exports increasing 3.4 percent year-on-year to 345,851 tons, while exports to Palestine increased by 244.5 percent to 157,466 tons, moving the country to second place. A 287.5 percent increase in exports to Peru to 122,931 tons and a sharp increase in shipments to Egypt to 85,781 tons were also among the most notable changes this year.
