The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) has released the final results of its expedited first review of the countervailing duty (CVD) order on standard steel welded wire mesh (wire mesh) from Mexico, finding that withdrawal of the order would likely result in the continuation or resumption of countervailing subsidies.
The net countervailing subsidy rates that would likely prevail in the event of withdrawal of the order are are 1.03 percent. for Acromex S.
A. De C.
V., 102.10 percent for Deacero SAPI. de C.
V. and 1.03 percent for all others.
The CVD Order for Wire Mesh from Mexico was originally issued on April 12, 2021. The review completion date began on March 2, 2026, and the final results were published in the Federal Register on July 1, 2026.
