Sulzle Stahlpartner expands production of reinforcing steel and drilling piles

German steel distributor Sulzle Stahlpartner has announced the expansion of its branch network, taking over the business operations of steel wholesaler Eisen Grader GmbH in Weiden in der Oberpfalz from July 1, 2026. Eisen Grader will continue to operate as a subsidiary of Sulzle Stahlpartner.

The acquisition includes the full integration of Eisen Grader's existing portfolio of services, including rebar steel trading, structural steel bending, and drilling piles manufacturing.

The acquisition strengthens the nationwide network

According to the company, customers will benefit from Sulzle's nationwide network, improved supply availability, and more efficient logistics. It is expected that the partnership will also ensure the long-term future of the company and support its further development.

Heinrich Zülzle, managing partner of the Sülzle Group, stated that the new branch will strengthen the company's presence while expanding its drilling pile production capacity by opening a second production site next to the existing plant in Dessau-Rosslau.
